We have held a focus group for our target audience, we asked them questions about our concept and visual presentation of our music video. We filmed the focus group and have updated the video to our blogs. Also we have arranged our actors for our music video and we are organising when the best time to film will be.
We have updated our outlook calendarr to show when and who we will be filming with. The calender helps us remain organised and plan our time efficiantly, the next step for our group will be to start filming.

Focus Group
We decided to host a focus group with our target audience, this allows us to gain feedback from the group we hope to aim our video at. The overall outcome was positive, they all liked our concept and agreed that it would be something they would enjoy watching. They did offer some suggestions and positive criticisms that we will take into account when making our music video.

After we had talked about our initial ideas we decided that we would create a Facebook group so that we could communicate with each other quickly outside college. The group will be useful when planning and organising the filming aspects of our media project, but also to inform each other when we had completed a task and how we are getting along. This group will help us by allowing us to upload photos, comment on ideas and share other things that we have found. When we have finished casting we will be able to add them to the group and communicate and organise time with them as well. If some members are not able to come into college on a specific day this will allow us to communicate with them when they are at home. This will allow us to make use of our time and make sure that each member of the group understands what they are doing.

Time Management
We have created a calender and have chosen tasks for each member of the group to focus on for example photos, costumes, props, actors and locations. We created this calender to ensure that everyone knows what they are doing and when they should do it by for the music video.
There are a number of tasks we need to complete, these are:
Time Management - our ongoing blog posts will be completed by the whole group, these will be used to ensure that all of the group have done their assigned tasks
Research into Target Audience - this will be in the form of a focus group and Emma will be in charge of this. The focus group will take place on the 26th of January at 12:30 which will be filmed and posted on our blogs.
Performers and Casting - This will include photos of the actors and a grid to show who is playing each role.
Organisation of Locations/Permission - This will include photos of the locations, a formal letter to the Assembly Rooms and a risk assessment. Jack will be in charge of this.
Costumes and Props - This will include sourcing costumes and props, photographs of the costumes and props. Rosie and Rachel will be in charge of this.

Creativity
Creativity - to be creative is to surpass original ideas or patterns to create new meaningful, thought provoking ideas. Some may find that creativity comes naturally others need inspiration.
How can you be more creative? - Creativity comes differently to different people, some find it easy to come up with a creative concept, others find it more difficult. In my opinion you first have to find something that inspires you, try to look at things from different angles and think outside the box.
Where does creativity come from? - I think that creativity comes from emotions or how you perceive a certain subject for example if someone were to paint a scene from a war zone, one artist may be angered by the scene another may be upset and this will effect how they paint. Also how interested someone is by a certain topic will also affect their creativity.
What role does it play in creating a media production? - Creativity is very important in the media, if there were no creativity then all media products would be the same. For example, the most creative music videos are usually the ones that are watched multiple times because they are so interesting and different.

Sir Ken Robinson - he believes that every child is born creative, that children are not afraid to be wrong and are very willing to participate in most things even if they think they are wrong. Robinson believes that education is teaching children that it is bad to be wrong therefore depriving them of being creative because for children to be creative they must be allowed to make mistakes.
I think that the suggestions that the "How to Guide" make probably do work to some extent, for some people. For example, their advice to learn about new things in order to widen your knowledge, this allows you to talk about other areas and ideas with people. Also the idea of sleep and rest, everyone experiences a lack of concentration and creativity when they are tired. However I believe that creativity is not just something you just come up with out of the blue, it needs to be worked on and improved.
